September 2016 - June 2019 Bachelor of Science with Honours Computer Games Design and Programming, First Class In this course I gained a good understanding of Object-oriented programming, game engine architecture, rendering pipelines, source control and gameplay design. My main focus was on C++ programming, but I also learnt 3D modelling and texturing, games design and games production. For my final year project, I made a 2D game in C++ and OpenGL, programming all the graphics and Physics, using SDL for inputs and resource management. I built the framework so that it is easily extendable to make other games with it. |
